Jazz at the Central Terminal
A couple of weeks ago I attended a fund raiser at the old New York Central terminal in Buffalo. The money raised is to help restore the old building-- long-abandoned-- to something like its former glory. The music was provided by members of the Colored Musicians Club (formerly the black local of the American Federation of Musicians, from back before they integrated). It was a good show in a grand setting, and here are some photos to commemorate the event.

Baseball Players and Baseball Fans
Photos taken last night at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, Bisons vs. the Norfolk Tides. It was an exciting game with plenty of action, though the good guys lost.

Poetry, etc. at Silo City
Last Saturday, I went to a poetry reading at Silo City, one of the coolest art venues in WNY. In addition to the poets, there were art installations, music, and of course the unique setting of the previously abandoned industrial site. Here are some photos I took.
