This is something I've been thinking about doing for quite awhile. Since the demise of my old radio show (Dr. John's Record Shelf), I've been trying to come up with another way to share some of my favorite music. I think the format I've arrived at, based on my other posts here that reflect a daily opinion (My Favorite..., Today) should work. Loosely based on the bit featured regularly on my radio show (Dr. John's Top Five) my goal is to produce thematic recordings where I share my top five favorite songs on a given day, based on a particular artist, theme, genre, or whatever else strikes my fancy. Maybe I'll also stretch out to other audio topics like comedy or film dialogue. We'll see. I know I'm a little rusty at this, which is probably evident in this sample, but I hope you'll check it out and let me know what you think. Again, to listen to this preview, just click here.

ReplyDeleteNo license-- just putting it on the blog where it isn't monetized. Plus I seem to peak at only about 15 views, which should keep me well below the need for that.
