Pansy Bradshaw, RIP

Pansy Bradshaw was one of the first people I met when I moved to Dillon 18 years ago.  A local poet, artist, and nanny, he also hosted the radio program following mine for several years on KDWG (it was called "Clark in the Dark" after his beloved dog).  He was a true joy to be around. He died suddenly last night and he will be missed by his many friends. I'm proud to say I was one of them.

Santa Monica, 2014
I recently read (well, mostly looked at the pictures) a book about Leroy Grannis, probably the preeminent photographer of surfers and surf culture.  I'm nowhere in his class, but it sure is a fun subject to shoot.  I'll likely post some more of my shots in the coming weeks, but you can also check out some of Grannis' work by clicking here.

What I Did Today

I got up bright and early this morning to drive up into the Pioneer Mountains to take some pictures.  Unfortunately, I had to go a ways to get out from under the overcast, but once conditions improved, I got some good shots.  Here are a few.
