I've been publishing a lot of photos recently that were taken on the west coast (with more to come). So I thought I'd mix things up with some shots from the north coast-- that is, the southern edge of Lake Ontario. These were taken in the area around Wilson and Olcott, NY.

Six Photos
These were all taken last month at the Getty Center in Los Angeles-- a great spot for checking out some great art and also doing some people-watching.

Pictures of Berlin
More old photos rescued from the scrap heap. One of the great things about this hobby (photography) is that as I learn more about how to make good pictures, I can apply those lessons to shots taken years ago that I wrote off as failures. That doesn't mean these are great, but it's kind of fun to discover they somewhat reward a second look (if only to spark memories of a great trip).

The Griffith Observatory
I love taking pictures up at the Griffith Observatory in the Hollywood Hills at dusk (actually, any time of day works in that place). There are plenty of people around, plus great vistas of much of the metro LA area. At sunset you get some really great light effects as well. These are from my last visit there.

B&W Hollywood
Here's a bunch of monochrome images taken recently in the neighborhood around Hollywood and Highland (just a block or two from Grauman's Chinese Theater).
