Yesterday was such a nice day around here that I wanted to go out and take some pictures. Since I had a couple of obligations, I couldn't go far or for long, but I took a short drive south of the city along Blacktail Creek and took a few landscape shots.  These were the best.

From one of my favorite places-- Santa Monica Beach.  I can spend hours watching the surfers who ride the waves there, followed by a stroll up to the amusement park on the pier (pictures of that to come).

At the Beach

I believe I mentioned in a post a few weeks back that I was disappointed to find no surfers plying their craft on a recent visit to Hermosa Beach in southern California.  Luckily, there was some other action on the beach that day, in the form of some volleyball players.  So I turned my camera on them, and these are some of the results.
