Playlist 130825

Yesterday on the Idiosyncratic History of Rock and Roll we paid tribute to what Dave Von Ronk called "The Great Folk Scare." Von Ronk's memoir The Mayor of McDougal Street (also the inspiration for the upcoming Coen Brothers film Inside Llewen Davis) was used to compile the list of performers during the folk music boom in Greenwich Village, Cambridge, and elsewhere who make up this week's playlist (highlighted titles are links to YouTube versions of the songs):
