Fisheye Fun
On Christmas Day I got a little tired of the same old pictures of people opening presents, so I pulled out the fisheye lens and had a little fun. So here are Natalie (with Dan in the background), Ben, Nik, Helen, Emma, and (because fair's fair) me expressing a distorted version of holiday cheer.

Toronto Street Portraits
Some results of my people-watching and picture-taking in Toronto last July. It's a great city for wandering around with a camera.

Griffis Sculpture Park
The Griffis Sculpture Park is about forty miles south of Buffalo, sitting on some rolling hills out in the country. Its purpose is to integrate art with nature, and it's a cool place to wander around. Here are some pictures from my visit there last summer.

Niagara Falls
These pictures were taken this morning at Niagara Falls State Park, where the temperature (on December 23!) was in the 50s. Surprisingly, there were very few tourists about, which gave the place an eerie feel (the fog adding to the effect) and suggesting both the subject matter and processing of these particular shots (which you will notice don't really emphasize the Falls themselves at all).

The Great Game
Not very Christmas-y, I know, but I've been working on some baseball shots from my last visit to Jacobs Field in Cleveland (I don't think it's actually called that anymore, but who can keep up with all these corporate named stadiums?). Indians-White Sox from last July, and from the angles, you'll be able to tell I was sitting way up there-- the last image is of a beer vendor in the upper deck..
