Street Shots
Some street photography, from this past New Years Eve in Buffalo. I really like the randomness of this kind of picture-taking, and enjoy spotting things I did not notice when I first snapped the shutter. I know these aren't in perfect focus, but that's just another aspect of the randomness that I like.

Art Lovers
I love taking pictures in art galleries, especially of patrons really enjoying the exhibits. Here are some examples taken in a variety of museums (in L.A., Phoenix and Chicago) I've visited over the past couple of years. Some of these are as abstract as the paintings (like the one below).

Roman Sights
Some more pictures take n in Rome back in 2008. These were taken in spots a bit less touristy than the Spanish Steps or the Parthenon, but are pretty interesting n their own right.

Four Nature Abstracts
I've been having some fun playing around on PhotoShop with some shots taken last December at Hyde Park in Niagara Falls. It was a gray day, but the pond in the park was casting some interesting reflections, which was the starting point for these abstracts. Anyway, I kind of like how these turned out.

The Spanish Steps
The Spanish Steps are one of the big attractions in Rome. These shots were taken in that neighborhood back in 2008.

Frosted Panes
I picked up a new macro lens this past week and had a chance to try it out on some frosted windows this morning out at Bannack. I'm quite pleased with its performance on these shots.
