Santa Fe

I'd bet that Santa Fe has more art-- public and private--  per square inch than any other city in the U.S.  There's cool stuff to see all over the place, and it's not all of a particular type or style (though the southwestern style architecture provides a pretty consistent context).  Here are some pictures I took while wandering around the city last May.

Bannack

Main Street
This morning I headed over to Bannack for a little fresh air and photography.  I wish the panoramic shots were wider here on the blog-- I was shooting a lot with my super wide angle lens (accounting for the fish-eye effect on some of these shots).  Since I go here pretty regularly, it's a challenge to think of new ways to photograph the same subjects, but I like how these turned out.

More Soccer Photos

It's been a little while since I posted pictures of FC Buffalo (my home town soccer club).  So here are some shots from their 1-0 victory over Greater Binghamton FC last July 5.

Cloud Gate

Cloud Gate is a huge piece of public art created by Anish Kapoor for Chicago's Millenium Park.  It's a large reflective "bean" that can't help but attract one's attention.  These are some pictures I took of the sculpture and its diverse audience when I was in the Windy City a couple of weeks ago.
