Seville

I'm re-visiting the photos I took on my trip to Spain back in 2013, and working up a few in antique style (must be the historian in me that likes this "look").  Anyway, here are a few examples of what I'm doing. By the way, Seville is one of the most beautiful and interesting places I've ever visited, right up there with Florence among the places I would really like to visit again some day.

Alejandro Escovedo

Alejandro Escovedo is one of my favorite musical artists, going back to his days in Rank and File and the True Believers (I even got to shake his hand and tell him so one time in Toronto, about 15 years before the evening depicted here).  This show was in 2010, and I don't recall ever posting these shots taken that evening, so here they are now.

Some Random Pictures

A handful of photos I've been working on that I think turned out pretty good, though there's only a stylistic, not thematic, link.

On the Street

Some pictures shot in downtown Buffalo back on Christmas Eve.  Temperatures were unseasonably mild, so it really doesn't have the typical holiday atmosphere.  But it was perfect for wandering around to take pictures.

Botanical Gardens, Part 3

One last set of photos taken on my last visit to the Buffalo Botanical Gardens.  It's a wonderful place to forget it's winter outside, at least for a little while.
