I recently spent an evening strolling along Las Vegas Boulevard testing my newest camera (a Sony point and shoot) that I specifically bought because the reviews praised its performance in low light situations. I haven't quite mastered it yet. You have to scroll through menus to adjust almost everything, which is unwieldy. My previous little camera was a Pentax that provided more dedicated buttons for basic stuff like white balance and ISO (sadly that camera conked out on me a few months back, and the model has been discontinued). Still, here are some of the early returns that suggest the Sony may live up to its billing.
