Of all the places I visited in Greece last Fall, Nafplio may have been my favorite. A seacoast town on the eastern shore of the Peloponnese peninsula, it is pretty, historic, and with a lot of activity going on in the narrow streets. Here are some pictures.
Second from last photo looks like an artist working.... did he paint icons like the one outside? How cool!
ReplyDeleteHe is an artist at work, but I didn't go into the studio to see if he was working on icons like the one out front-- but it wouldn't be a bad guess.
