Return of the Idiosyncratic History of Rock, Part 2

 

 

You may recall that in response to a request from my friends Jim and Nan, I undertook to record a new mini series of the Idiosyncratic History of Rock & Roll devoted to explaining what made the Beatles so special.  You can find links to the first part of that miniseries (itself divided into two segments, and covering the material through the album Revolver) by clicking here.  I finally got around to recording Part 2 (basically from "Strawberry Fields Forever" on), and you can listen to those segments by clicking on the following links: Part 2a, Part 2b, and Part 2c.  Note that these are MP3 files, and can be downloaded for later listening as well (click the download icon in the upper right corner of the screen that pops up when you click the link).
