Dead Flowers

I know the title of this post doesn't sound too appealing, but I hope these photos make up for that.  These were taken at the Huntington Gardens, mostly in the area around the Sculpture Garden, and represent some of the flowers that had fallen to the ground and started to decompose.  I was struck at how the colors were affected by decomposition, or otherwise set off against the browns of the ground, making them a worthwhile subject for the camera.
