On the outside, a small church that looks a lot like many others we passed as we rolled through the Cretan countryside. On the inside, every wall is emblazoned with Byzantine era frescoes depicting scenes from the New Testament, probably dating back to the 13th century. Here are some samples of what we saw inside.
