In and Around Kalamata

Kalamata is a port city on the south coast of the Peloponnese peninsula. There are ruins of an old (13th century) castle overlooking the city (it was from there that I took the more panoramic images here). Of course, the surrounding region is also famous for their olives.  Like pretty much every place we visited in Greece, there are also a lot of cats around.
