More photos from Cordoba today, starting with a view of the Mesquita from the south side of the Guadalquiver River. The structure on the left is the Puente Romano, or Roman Bridge (the name should give you an idea of how old it is). Below is the angel statue that stands about midway across the bridge.
Looking over the bridge on the side opposite the angel, one can see the ruins of an old mill that used to operate on a small island in the middle of the river. Below are some shots taken while wandering around after nightfall.
